What's the best thing about the Hospitality industry?

It’s an industry of opportunities. There are career opportunities in so many different disciplines, and there are opportunities to make a difference to our guests, our employees, and our owners.

What's the most important feature of a hotel website in your opinion?

There are two - the first impression, and the user experience. The first impression is paramount, it must be carefully curated to reflect the brand and be up to date with here and now. The user experience must be simple, intuitive, and speedy.

What future hotel technology excites you?

I am always excited about technology, whether it is something that enables employees to personalise our guest’s experience or further their personal development. I am also a fan of any technology that empowers our guest to be in full control of their experience and that offers them a seamless journey from pre-arrival to post-stay.

What's your favourite international hotel to stay in?

Blackberry Mountain in Tennessee, USA.

What are your growth plans for the next 12 months?

Keep evolving...
