Overview
The Calcot Collection is a small, eclectic family of approachable luxury hotels, inns, restaurants and spas, each with its own personality and story to tell. With four hotels all nestled in the beautiful Cotswolds, and one that sits on the edge of the wild landscape of the North Pennines.
Challenge
The Calcot collection commissioned us to create a group of websites where each hotel has its own unique style and character, which needed to be prominent throughout the digital experience while retaining the feel of a family of properties.
Approach
User experience was going to be vital for this project, so we started with a data-driven approach. By looking at the analytics history for the sites, the conversion rates and Roi for digital marketing activity, we began to form a strategy moving forward. Stakeholder interviews were also used to build a picture of their guest landscape. From this, we developed a digital framework for the sites with consistent user journeys and design standards. The final step was to inject each property's individuality through visual language, tone of voice, and design styling for each hotel.
