After a major rebrand, Villa Resorts wanted to elevate its online presence to match its new positioning.

Challenge

Creating a luxury user experience was key, and the navigation and path to book required refinement and clarity. The resorts were to be unified in a single domain which meant both technical and design-based strategies were utilised.

With such a lifestyle-focused brand, it was important to truly get to the heart of the group's ethos to appeal to its audience. A series of internal workshops and stakeholder meetings revealed a navigation structure on which to base the site, and a visual understanding to bring it to life.

The layout and content were designed to draw users into the feeling of being at the resorts, prioritising stories over facilities and encouraging visitors to book their stay. With the growth of experienced-based travel, this elevated them above the noise of the competition.

Making waves online

Driving direct bookings for the resorts meant combining a group strategy with the individual messaging and visual style for each resort. Our marketing strategy combined top-level branding with Meta ads and Pay-Per-Click campaigns targeted for various global markets, which led to great results. The goal was to make more people aware of the resorts and increase both search traffic and overall revenue from different channels. The success highlights the effectiveness of combining experience storytelling with targeted strategies to increase revenue from new users.
