The Vineyard is a five-star Relais & Chateaux hotel with a fine dining restaurant, a 30,000-bottle wine cellar and a Five Bubble spa. We were commissioned to reimagine their current digital platform to reflect the love of detail and craft so prominent in the hotel itself.

Challenge

The challenge was representing the many experiences on offer, in a way that felt unmistakably Vineyard. The balance between conversion and luxury was a fine one that required careful thought to ensure it translated to every channel.

Approach

Through a series of stakeholder interviews and research, we developed a strategy to deliver a seamless booking journey and a visual aesthetic that worked as a fine pairing to drive conversion and engagement.

We focused on enhancing their website's general visibility and organic search results. This was achieved by implementing a fully optimised SEO content strategy tailored to complement the hotel's existing narrative style. This was supported by tactical campaigns to improve direct bookings, promoting offers and packages, as well as responsive campaigns to boost revenue when required.

Creating memorable moments

With so many facets to The Vineyard, the structure of the site had to be highly considered. We audited all the experiences, facilities and guest touchpoints to create a seamless user journey that would maximise the hotel's exposure and connect users to the heart of the brand. The visual and verbal strategy was then crafted to realise Sir Peter Michael's belief that "music, art, wine, food and good company create some of the greatest moments and treasured memories in life.
