Interior design is taken very seriously, in this otherwise playful setting, and much thought and consideration has been put into the curated spaces within the hotel. Everything from the artwork that adorns the walls, to the lighting, decor choices and colour palette adds an “unexpected drama” and joyfully intrigue.
Put simply, No. 15 is a playground for adults, a place for discerning guests and hedonists to indulge their senses amongst of backdrop of luxurious surroundings and high end offerings. This naturally extends to their dining experience in the quirky “underground” Dispensary restaurant. A place where apothecary bottles are lined up against the back wall and trinkets dangle delightfully from the walls and ceilings.
It’ll be worth making a beeline for Bath and No.15 Great Pulteney this 16th September, as head chef Marcus Bradley, is making tomahawk steak the star of the show for one night only as part of the boutique hotel’s supper club series. The centrepiece of the five-course feast, which also includes the likes of potted shrimp on sourdough, a classic Caesar salad and treacle tart, is an on-the-bone rib steak, French trimmed and cooked to perfection.
