Journey, the boutique luxury marketing agency of Journey Hospitality, is delighted to announce the appointment of Alice Violet as Social Media Director. With a career in hospitality and digital marketing, Alice brings invaluable experience to Journey which is building an unparalleled team of hospitality professionals and digital marketing experts.
Alice started her marketing career with Abercrombie & Kent back in 2014, where she introduced social media to their marketing strategy and established a highly successful social media presence. Her success caught the attention of competitors, and she subsequently moved to Audley Travel in 2015 to transform their social channels, introducing innovative videography and content campaigns.
In 2019 Alice joined Cybersecurity specialist, Sophos, to enhance and evolve their established news network, Naked Security. She took Naked Security from being primarily written news to comprising video, live streams, audio and graphics. Alice became the producer (and sometimes host) of the Naked Security podcast, transforming the format and adding new guests before launching the award-winning Series 2 in July 2019.
We are delighted that Alice has joined Journey as Director of Social Media, where she will be heading up our social media performance team and establishing the agency’s ‘Inside Luxury’ creative studio and podcast channel. ‘Inside Luxury’, to be launched this autumn, will be an industry-leading channel for luxury hoteliers and marketers featuring a series of discussions and debates between global hospitality experts on key challenges and opportunities within the industry.
