Strategy

Our strategy was to ensure that Nira Alpina was front of mind for their target audience as an all year round holiday destination. Nira Alpina is primarily a ski resort but in the summer months it’s all about the great outdoors and the range of activities and adventures to suit all ages. We leveraged seasonal research and booking data to help inform marketing spend to maximise booking conversions.

The rich media content which included video and photography and the seasonal summer and winter digital campaigns helped to re-position and re-affirm that Nira Alpina was indeed all year round destination. Our top down Book Direct strategy had a positive impact and generated 35% increase of traffic into the booking engine which resulted in a 77% increase in bookings. This helped to reduce OTA dependency, drive brand recognition, and ensured seasonality became an effective, revenue management strategy.
